I will slow down and not post much more in the area of my e-fed experiences. Just figured we've all be in what we would consider the worst e-fed (or e-feds) ever so I wanted to share my expeirence.
My first e-fed was one called Competitive Championship Wrestling back in 1998. The guy had a webpage for the fed but never used it. Cards and match results were just sent by e-mail while the fed's page sat unused. My neighbor, Todd, ran a character named T-Bone. He had a match and posted two great promos (it was a shoot fed not a storyline/angle fed). His opponent posted nothing but his opponent was given the win in the match. I e-mailed the fed owner and asked him how this could be. His answer amazed me. He said: "(name of e-fed wrestler) is my best friend in real life. He doesn't have a computer but he wanted to get involved in e-fedding. Since he cannot access the internet and air promos I felt that giving him the win was the right thing to do." I replied with "Me and Todd quitting your e-fed is the right thing to do" and we quit that day.
The next bad experience was with a fed called Vanguard Wrestling Federation. The owner of the Fed lived in San Francisco and I lived in the San Bernardino-Riverside area. One day the fed owner just bailed without warning. Nobody knew where he was at. I was helping him run the fed with another person who ran a character there and we tried desperately to run the fed not knowing a lot about how to do it. One match was very close to vote on and in most cases in e-fedding it would have been voted as a Draw. In this case, though, we had a run-in that attacked one of the wrestlers during the match, and since the match was Hardcore Rules it was legal, and the guy lost as we felt the run-in attack was enough to sway the match. He sent me an e-mail and told me he was going to drive out to the San Bernardino-Riverside area in California and kill me. Seriously? A death threat over an e-fed match where you are supposed to have fun? I quit this fed and let the other guy run it. Never heard from Mister Death Threatagain.
That's pretty much it for either bad experiences or odd experiences in e-fedding for me. Most of the rest of the time I've been in e-fedding has been fun and exciting.
