RESULTS - Desolation EP19 6/10/19

We cut backstage inside the locker room of The Monarchy as Lilly Rose’s attention is quickly drawn to the kendo stick that flies by her head and crashes into the wall behind her. A few feet away from her Sela Rica-Lark looks annoyed as a pair of brass knuckles lands at her feet.

Pryce: God damn’t, where the hell is it.

The large imposing figure of Alijah Pryce is rummaging around, clearly looking for something. He tosses a few t-shirts over his shoulder, then stands up with a large solid steel pipe in his hand.

Pryce: This should work just perfectly. Gonna take her head right off and get that title back.

Pryce smacks the steel against his hand as his mouth contorts into a sadistic grin.

Lilly: Shouldn’t you be focused on your match and not my sister Alijah?

Lilly looks towards Shields.

Lilly: You really going to let him not have his head in the right place?

Alijah looks over at Lilly and sneers slightly before turning and heading out the door. Shields looks and sighs.

Shields: Shit. I will go find him and get him focused on this tag match. We need to teach those two self-righteous dickbags a lesson tonight.

Shields gets up, slings his heavyweight title over his shoulder and starts to head off

Shields: And I’ll try to stop him from killing your sister. Not sure on that though, he is PISSED! She really messed with his head last week. Did she learn the flirt and attack from you or you learn it from her?

Shields looks over to Lilly and gives her a slight raise of his eyebrow before heading off to find his tag team partner for the night. Sela looks on at the scene, nonchalantly.

Sela: I thought we were the ones dating him.

Lilly: We are, but we got our own match to focus on. If Alijah kills my sister, my mind won’t be on our match at all.

Sela: Pretty sure your sister can handle herself. Pryce just needs to leave the viciousness to the professionals. As we will demonstrate in our match.

Lilly shrugs her shoulders.

Lilly: Who knows if she can. You are right, doesn’t matter who else is in the match, we will come out the winners. It’s time Barnhart and Vinnie lose those titles.

The door is shoved open and Pryce comes storming in. He slams the steel pipe against the wall leading to the showers, almost bending it in half as Shields comes in behind him and looks over to Lilly.

Shields: Well the good news is that your sister is still alive.

Pryce: Only because I couldn't find her. I swear when I get my hands on her

Pryce growls and snarls as he starts pacing a bit.

Shields: Well worry about that later. Tonight, the focus needs to be Basch and Reinhart. Two shows ago we left Basch laying. Last week you had that bastard out and he barely escaped, and then you did leave Reinhart laying. I’ve broken Basch before and the only way Reinhart has ever and ever will be capable of beating me is with a cheap distraction. Focus on the task at hand big man. After that, we support Lilly and Sela as they bring the tag team titles home and then after that, if you promise not to maim or murder her, maybe Lilly will help you find Zetta and get the hardcore title back. For the good of The Monarchy.

Shields looks over at Lilly and encourages her to agree as Pryce breaths deep.

Pryce: I guess I can take this out and Basch and Reinhart, then handle Zetta later…

Lilly: After Sela and I win the Duos titles we can go look for Zetta. For now, my focus is on the match, unlike some of the people Sela and I are facing.

Sela: Don't worry sweetie. By the time we're done with them, they're gonna realize that they should have been worried about a different kind of psycho.

Lilly: One of them doesn’t even know he is facing us, or anyone in the match. Such an idiot. Still I need this title, I need to match Coral who just won a title.

Sela: Just do what we've shown you comes naturally for you and these two won't ever be in an issue. Trust me, getting their blood on your hands will be manna.

Sela smiles and gives Lilly a quick kiss as the scene fades out.



Trenton: The following contest is set for one fall, and it’s a tag team match!

The lights in the arena go black and stay out for a good ten seconds until "Faith" by Ghost begins to play. The gold lights begin to flash to the beat of the song as smoke rises up from the ramp. As the 1st verse begins, Matt Shields and Alijah step out and look at the crowd. Matt points the kendo stick down at the ring as several large bursts of fire shoot up on either side of him. He stalks down to the ring, carrying his kendo stick in his right hand, dragging along the ramp behind him, while he has a balloon in his left hand. Pryce walks behind him silently.

Trenton: Introducing first, representing The Monarchy. They are Alijah Pryce and the Red Sun Wrestling Heavyweight Champion, Matt Shields!

As he reaches the bottom of the ramp, Shields lets the balloon go, flying off into the rafters. He then goes to the steps and slowly climbs them. He stops as he gets to the ring apron, goes to the middle of the ropes, turns towards the crowd and points the kendo stick out at them before he wipes his feet and steps inside. He goes to the middle of the ring, hits the mat with the kendo stick and all the lights go out for a few seconds as the lyrics repeat:

I am all eyes
I am all ears
I am the wall
And I’m watching you fall
Because faith is mine!

As the bridge hits, the lights all come back on with an almost blinding burst as Shields stands with his arms outstretched in the middle of the ring. He hands off his kendo stick, Knightmare King mask, and ring jacket before he turns towards his opposition. Alijah slides in under the ropes and looks towards the entrance way with Shields.

Terry: The big man looks ready to tear someone apart, but Shields looks like he’s got the leash on tight.

London: He needs to with a large and powerful man like Pryce. But the opposition can go blow for blow.

The bass opener from “For Whom the Bell Tolls” cranks up over the PA… As the bass lines keep going, we see two figures standing side by side on the entrance ramp. One of them squats down and looks towards the stage. As the blue lights start flashing, we see the larger figure holding his arm up.

Trenton: Their opponents… They are the team of Adam Reinhart and Donovan Basch!

As the lights come up, Reinhart walks towards the stage in step with Basch. Both men look towards Pryce and Shields. As they keep walking, Shields nods to Pryce. Basch and Reinhart leap onto the apron as the Monarchy comes in on the attack! All four men throw punches as hard and fast as they can. The referee rings the bell as all four men get into the ring.

Terry: And the Monarchy are not messing about here, London!

London: Both teams are ready to tear each other apart, Stu!

As Shields and Basch meet in the middle of the ring, Reinhart takes Pryce to the outside and starts hammering him with everything he’s got! Basch throws a series of rights and lefts to Shields. The Knightmare King fires back with a forearm smash followed into a step up Enziguri. Basch hits the ground hard on his face! Shields pulls him up and traps the arm, throwing him into a vicious Arm Trap DDT. He hits the ground and rolls over for only a one count!

London: Shields tries to get the quick pin!

Terry: I think all the champion has done is agitated Donovan…

As Donovan gets himself back to his feet, Shields feigns a bit of a plea. However, as Basch moves over to him, Shields pulls the trunks to vault his opponent to the ropes. He’s expecting Pryce to deck Basch, but Basch is unharmed. He looks outside and sees Pryce laid out on the floor. Reinhart waves to Shields for a moment, as Basch gets a handful of trunks and pins Shields. The referee gets a one and a half count.

Terry: And Basch getting one up on Shields!

London: And look who’s waking up!

Pryce is back on his feet as Reinhart turns around. He eats a clothesline on the outside and topples over. As Basch gets back up to his feet, he sees Pryce staring at him. He goes for an attack, but Shields catches the arm and throws him into the Arm Trapped Facelock he calls the Whispers of Azathoth. Slowly, the big man tries to fight out of it, but the champion has it locked in hard. As Reinhart tries to get back in, Pryce grabs him and throws him into the barricade! Without a route of escape, Basch taps out!




We cut backstage to see RSW Hardcore Champion Zetta Rose walking down the hallway with the Hardcore Championship belt draped over her shoulder. After a few moments, she is stopped by RSW interviewer Tori Kaye.

Tori: Well, if it isn’t one of the newest members of the roster. You sure made quite the impact at the last Desolation when you shocked the world by winning the Hardcore Championship before you even had your first match.

Zetta: Yeah, well I…

SLAM!

Tori looks on in shock as a door swings open, smacking Zetta face first into some boxes. As Zetta lies in a crumpled heap on the floor, we see Chase Nutz standing there, equally stunned. But upon seeing the RSW Hardcore Championship, his eyes light up.

Chase: Hey, Tori… you wouldn’t happen to know where any of the referees are, would you?

Tori: Um, well, as a matter of fact…

Before Tori can even finish her sentence, a referee walks into frame.

Chase: Speak of the devil…

He drops down over the still-unconscious Zetta, rolling her onto her back for the cover…

ONE!

TWO!

THREE!!!

As soon as the three count is made, Chase grabs the Hardcore Championship belt and starts to make his getaway, but not before offering a few parting words to Tori.

Chase: Sorry about that!

Tori looks on in bewilderment as Chase makes a hasty exit.



Jeremy and Jessa were sitting in their locker rooms. Behind them are cut out cardboards of them with the Duos titles. Jessa looks back at the cut outs as she smiles.

Jessa: Last show we said we would beat the Monarchy and show who was better. Now this week we get a chance to get back our titles.

Jeremy: While these… imitations are crude, they do depict accurately how tonight is going to turn out. After all, we're the only deserving Duos champions.

Jessa: These other teams they threw into the match is only just going to suffer a loss. Nothing more, nothing less.

Jeremy: Nothing will stop Excellence from reigning again. That is a promise.

Jessa smirks lightly.

Jessa: No matter what others say or think.

Jeremy grabs his cutout and shows it to the camera.

Jeremy: This is your future so get used to it.

Jessa: We all know everyone will bitch, and complain about it, but oh well.

Jeremy: You've only got words left and as the children say words don't hurt and actions speak louder.

Jessa: Our actions will speak louder.

Jessa and Jeremy look into the camera before they walk away.



Terry: Alright, it's time for the main event. The era of Excrement versus The Nerds versus The Flea Bitten Bastards versus The Monarchy Queens.

London: Glad to see you're not biased towards any particular team. You have both teams who previously held the titles in this one and you know they want them back.

Terry: Well too bad, those titles are going to be wrapped around the two most gorgeous waists in this entire company.

London: I don't know about that, but the odds don't favor the champions retaining. The only benefit is that it's four corners as opposed to fatal four way.

DING DING DING

Vinnie and Barnhart quickly get on the apron, as does Lilly. Sela looks amped up to fight, but after Lilly whispers something to her, she goes to the apron. Honma and Starling decide to start the match off and meet right in the center for a lock up. Honma has the obvious size and power advantage, but Starling thumbs him in the eye and follows with a snap suplex. Starling tags in Jessa and she hits Honma with a big double knee backbreaker, leading to him stumbling towards Starling to be hit with a second snap suplex. Jessa tags Starling right back in the ring and he delivers a hip toss followed by them sandwiching him with basement dropkicks. Starling goes for the cover, but Honma kicks out at 2. Starling brings him up and looks for another snap suplex, but Honma blocks it and drops Starling with a big vertical suplex. Honma manages to tag in Ana and they quickly pull Starling up and connect with Just Saiyan.

Terry: Huge move there from The Nerds and Era is in some trouble here.

London: Ana pulling Starling out of that corner for the pin, but she doesn't know that Sela made the tag just before.

Sela comes in, pulls Ana up and delivers a vicious snap DDT. Sela tags Lilly and they deliver a double neckbreaker. Lilly follows up with a moonsault and gets a close one, but Ana kicks out at 2. Lilly tosses Ana into the corner of her and Sela, tags her partner in and Lilly hits a rolling snapmare, followed by a shining wizard from Sela. Another cover and another 2 count. Sela tags Lilly right back and they set Ana up for the Sexual Pleasure combo, but she ducks the spinning heel kick and dives forward, tagging in Senor Vinnie. Vinnie floors Lilly with a forearm as Sela rolls to the outside. Vinnie pulls Lilly up and delivers a vicious spinebuster, driving her down into the ring. Sela is up and pulls a kendo stick out as she sees Vinnie covering Sela. The ref is quick to stop her and Barnhart takes advantage of the distraction, coming in to help his partner. They haul Lilly to her feet and get set for the Tijuana Special, but Lilly rakes the eyes of Barnhart, drops down and kicks Vinnie low. Vinnie and Lilly both roll to the other corners and now Jessa and Ana tag in.

London: Absolute chaos in this match right now as the Duo's champs are down and Lilly Rose is out as well.

Terry: I still have faith in my queens.

Ana and Jessa meet and immediately start trading chops. Ana manages to get the upper hand and backs Jessa into her corner. Ana tags Honma in and they deliver a quick double hip toss followed by kicks to the chest and back. Honma tags Ana right back in and they set up for Shenron's Calling, but Jessa drives a knee down into Honma's skull, slips off and tags in Jeremy. Jessa goes for the kendo stick and while the ref is distracted, he low blows Honma and knocks Ana off the apron, sending her crashing into the barricade. Lilly makes the blind tag on Honma but doesn't come in, instead letting Jessa hit the spinning heel kick as Starling connects with Born Better. Starling covers, but the ref waves it off. Lilly and Sela both come in. Lilly tosses Jessa into the ring post as Sela hits a chop block to take Starling down to a knee. Lilly gets set and they deliver Sexual Pleasure as Lilly hits Sexual's Thorn and Sela follows right up with Pain For Pleasure. Lilly makes the cover

THRE - BROKEN UP!

Senor Vinnie is in and slams the kendo stick across the back of Lilly Rose to break the pin, leading to the ref immediately calling for the disqualification

DING DING DING

Terry: What the hell was that crap?

London: Vinnie clearly upset about the low blow earlier, and takes out that frustration.

Davis: The winners of the match as a result of a Disqualification, LILLY ROSE, AND SELA RICA-LARK! However, since titles cannot change hands on a disqualification, Dos Senores are STILL The RSW Duo's Champions.

Terry: This is an absolute travesty. Lilly and Sela had this damn thing won, and then Vinnie makes a cowardly attack just to keep the titles.

London: Well Sela is the one who introduced the kendo stick.

Terry: That doesn't matter.

On the outside, both the Era Of Excellence and Weaponized Nerd Rage look up the ramp at Dos Senores as they raise their titles high, while Sela helps Lilly up to her feet and stares at Vinnie with murderous rage before telling him that they will see each other very soon.
